Not now doesn't mean not ever.

Dear Baby Mine,
You didn't come this month, I was sad when I knew you weren't in there.  I had hoped so much that you were going to come now, but you have other plans, and I don't understand them, but that's ok.  I keep telling myself that not now doesn't mean not ever, just because you didn't come last month doesn't mean you aren't coming.. it just means I need to be patient, and you will come when you are ready.  I just hope you are ready soon Baby Mine.  I haven't given up, and I won't give up, I know someday soon you will join our family.  Hurry home Baby Mine, we are still waiting.
Love to the moon and back, forever and always,
Mommy

Knock Knock!

Are you in there yet Baby Mine?  I'm having some promising signs you might have burrowed yourself down, but nothing definite.. I wish you could talk to me, tell me, "Yeah I came home Mommy!" or "Not yet Mommy, but soon."  I can't stop thinking about you, everything I do and everywhere I go, you are there in my mind it's constant, and wonderful, and painful, and beautiful.
Love you To the Moon and Back Always and Forever,
Mommy

Is that you?

Dear Baby Mine,
I quit cramping last night, finally! I can't say I was sad to see the discomfort leave.  Then this afternoon out of the blue, bang the cramping started again.  Is that you, Baby Mine?  Are you starting to burrow in to your new home? I hope so, I pray each night that you have finally come home and that in just a few weeks (37) we will finally meet face to face.
I love you always and forever, to the moon and back,
Mommy

Is this it?

Baby Mine,
I am waiting now, waiting for two long weeks to find out if you are on your way. Feel free to make your presence known strongly, I will happily deal with any symptoms you want to throw my way to let me know!  I hope you are coming home, I want to hold you so badly, both in my body while you grow and in my arms when you are born.  Your daddy is just as excited about you coming, he talks about you, and even dreams about you, he has never done that before.  He wants so badly to meet you and show you the world, we both do!
We love you more then life itself little one, come home!
Love always and forever,
Mommy

Just Hello

Dear Baby Mine,
I don't have much to say today, just that I'm thinking of you and dreaming of you.  You occupy my mind most of the time, even when I'm busy you seem to creep in and I find myself drifting again.  Your brothers and your sister  wanted to sing tonight, and so as we all sat around singing songs, while they played with play dough, I wondered about you again, will you love to sing? I hope so, our family enjoys singing together, and it's an often requested activity. M your youngest big brother will make up all sorts of songs to sing for you, he loves doing that for babies and I know he will love doing it for you.  I use to sing all your brothers to sleep each night and I can't wait to do that for you too.
Hurry home Baby Mine We love you and can't wait to sing to you!
Love from the moon and back,
Mommy

You're worth so much more!

Dear Baby Mine,
I've been a little crabby today.  You see in trying to bring you here I had to start some medicines and those medicines are making me feel a little tender and maybe a little emotional as well.  I was just complaining about it all and I realized something after I finished writing about how much it stinks to feel this way.  I would go through so much more to bring you here Baby Mine, anything it takes, no amount of pain is too much if it ends with you being in my arms, in our family!  I ordered your big brother a shirt this last week, and I can't wait to see it on him, because it announces his new role in our family as your big brother, it means you are really coming to us and we have an expected arrival date. If cramping and not fitting my jeans and crying over silly things brings you to us, bring it on, because you are worth it all Baby Mine and soo much more!

Who are you baby mine?

Baby Mine,
This week I met a new life, Harlen.  I watched as his mother struggled to bring him into the world and cried as she was rushed off for an emergency c-section.  I cried again when all went well and I had the joy of meeting this brand new little man, another miracle brought into world.  Harlen's mom didn't think she would ever have a baby either, and yet there he is.  I am caring for his big sister, only 10 months older then him, she was adopted and a few months later they found out Harlen was on the way.  As I play with Juliette, and think about little Harlen, I can't help wishing it was you in my arms.  She loves bath time, and it's so much fun watching her play in the water each night, and I wonder, will you like baths, will you be a little water bug like your mama?  Will you love vegetables or will you turn your nose up at them?  What will you be like?  I can't wait to meet you Baby Mine, I can't wait to give you baths, and rock you to sleep at night, I can't wait to feel your soft baby breaths blowing on my neck as you snuggle against me.  Hurry and come little one, we've been waiting so long for you!
Love always,
Mommy

Baby Mine

My sweet baby,
You aren't even conceived yet but still I think about you every day.  You are already in my heart and part of my life as we wait to see those lovely pink lines that mean you will finally be in our arms.  Today the first snow fell and I wondered what your reaction will be when you see your first snow, and you will see snow, lots of it.  Your life will not be ordinary, but then nothing about you is ordinary, nothing about you will ever be ordinary, you are an extraordinary being born from  prayers, and tears, dreams and hope. You're early life will likely be in a remote village in Alaska, a far cry from many people's life, but a life of adventure and magic can be found here, and we can't wait to help you discover it!  Already you are part of an extraordinary home, lives that wait to love you, cherish you, encourage you.  You have seven siblings and while three of them have left home  they will always be there for you.  From the day you finally join us on earth you will be wrapped in a cocoon of warmth and love.  Please hurry and come sweet baby of mine, we can't wait to hold you and show you the wonders of life on this planet!
All my love always,
Mommy
